Why not ?? She is next in rankings! People complain about the men's wild cards not deserving their place yet Paula is tied 13th in rankings and Ann Louise 15th , feel a bit sorry for Rachel Brooks who missed out as she was tied 13th with Paula.
*Shudders*

Give me ALP on my "TV" screen every day.

Plus she won't spend half the match asking the ref what she's scored and how many are left.

I probably just missed it - where did that glorious World Trophy poster originate from? The Lakeside company?

I like the "will involve some of the BDO's top darts players" part.

But tickets are not for sale

No TV
Got an email from Lakeside about this today, apart from spelling Deta's name wrong, it states tickets will be available week commencing 1st May, and it is scheduled to be shown on National TV
FAO Zeyes, it was Addicks Fan who got it in an email and it was Lakeside who mailed it out. Which makes the faux pas of them not knowing their own website address even worse.

£2 booking fee and £1.50 for postage. Its a ticket, not a book. Robbing gits.

I spot the seating is set up rather differently. Probably to make it look busier...
Capacity of 746 for each session too, that's a fair bit lower than normal I would wager.

Could have a sweep on what % of tickets get sold ;)

I am guessing 10% of capacity sold per session, so lets say 75. Throw in the freebies bound to be given out, and considering only a third of those actually will be put into use. I am guessing about an avg of 157 in attendance per session.

I am expecting the roaches rummaging in an empty bag of crisp to make more noise than the crowd.

Default cabaret-style setup, I think, not sure that's actually indicative of how it's supposed to look at the tournament...could be they just didn't manage to add a custom seating layout to the ticket engine at such short notice. Think the Lakeside darts setup seats about 1200, though I could be remembering that wrong.

Edit: Found some old notes - capacity was 1432 at the 2015 Lakeside according to the seating plan.

Can we get a guarantee that there will be order at this event? Not some idiots waving their arms and shouting "Jeff"
