I'm very pleased Gary came out on top, there. Because I can't stand that cheating Dutch bastard.

Eventually van de Pas had to miss, and Anderson made him pay. Averages of 107 and 102, twenty 180s, with 59 scores of 140 or more. Great stuff, added to Wright's performance to start the night of course.

Extraordigary performance from Ando. :DDDD: :DDDD:

Didn't think after the MVG vs Reyes match last night, we would get another game to rival it, during this year's World Championship, but for me that was better. Huge credit to Benny for not giving up and making a match of it.

This tournament is really hotting up, and can't wait for Barney vs Adie.

Mardle the commentator. Mardle the studio analysist. Mardle the dance/costume/funny jokes judge.

Its great that Sky give so much air time to a man who achieved so much in the game.

Who's to say Barney will win? And do you have to say "extraordigary" every single bloody time my friend? Jeepers. There are other words that actually exist that would be more appropriate, like clinical, superb, top class, sublime, composed! Not being nasty because I like you and Anderson very much, just annoys me that's all mate!

To be fair, I don't really mind Mardle. However, I do wish they'd do away with that silly "competition" where he gives t-shirts out to the pillocks in the crowd. It kind of encourages their idiocy, and makes Wayne come across as a bit of a mongoloid enabler.

I'd like to agree, but I think he's actually more suitable for the T-shirt job than the commentary job.

Reached 5th in the world, beat Taylor at his peak in the Worlds, 4-time World semi-finalist and World Matchplay runner-up, on top of being a nice man and interesting listen! May not have won a major or many other tournaments granted, but a well-levelled guy who deserves the job I'd say! Would you rather 3-time World Champion John Lowe for example who has zero charisma, all due respect to the legend?
