So as it stands, Hamilton is missing out on the Worlds? That's some fall.

First four qualifiers to the Japan qualifier is known. A further four to join these guys:

Seigo Asada
Tsuneki Zaha
Masumi Chino
Chikara Fujimori

It would seem Asada also set the record for the highest average over the tournament. An average of 94.82

Re: 2017 PDC World Championship Qualification

Post by ssjsa »

WARREN PARRY will compete in the William Hill World Darts Championship for a fourth time in December after winning the DartPlayers New Zealand Qualifier in Invercargill.

The 52-year-old, who recently competed in both the PDC World Cup of Darts and Auckland Darts Masters, overcame top Kiwi Rob Szabo as he secured his return to Alexandra Palace.

Parry overcame two players with big-stage experience, Mark Cleaver and Cody Harris, in the quarter-finals and semi-finals before sealing his 7-3 win over Szabo in the final with a brilliant 161 checkout.

Parry has previously qualified three times to compete in the World Championship after winning the DPA Oceanic Masters in 2005, 2007 and 2009, while he has also played in both the PDC World Cup of Darts and Sydney Darts Masters on three occasions.

The dates, session times and ticket prices for the 2016-17 William Hill World Darts Championship are still being finalised and will be announced atwww.pdc.tv/tickets in due course.

I believe the schedule for the Worlds is being released tomorrow morning, no doubt ticket sales info to follow.

Given that the 2nd Jan is a Monday bank holiday, that is whan the final is likely to be, IMO.

Think Christian Perez is the South Asia qualifier, would indicate the Filipino qualifier has been dropped again
