I thought the Scottish guy was a perfect fit for darts and easily the best over the weekend.

I'm a massive boxing fan and like many other boxing fans have never been a fan of Rawling as a commentator. He's competant and gets on well with Mason but he's obviously not very knowledgeable on darts, makes trite observations and dull.

Shows about 3/4 of the arena! Even if all the remaining "out of shot" seats were not taken up it still wouldn't be half empty!!

Give this one up, lads :D :D
The thing is David Owens you and Alky Col seem to be taking this personally as you do with all PDC related things, i wasn't having a pop, just stating a fact as i was there.
I remember Brum more clearly as my pal played up on the stage before the main event started, i was there, so you can show me any amount of pictures you like because it makes no difference to me.
Peter, Peter, Peter!!!
Some videos from the dates you think you were at the venues. Only a complete and utter buffoon would suggest the venues were half empty. Which leads to me to believe one of two things. 1. The PDC manipulate photographs and videos to make it appear that venues are busier than they actually are or 2. You are talking complete and utter bullshit. My house and everything I own is on the latter.

Never been to premier league, but can confirm that this happened at early holding of GSOD. Half empty hall. Balcony closed and all ticket holders moved to front tables .

Careful Col will be calling you a liar, didn't you know there has never been an empty seat at any pdc comp ever FACT

Yeah i've seen them move people around too, it's the sensible thing to do.

Ginge has voted 'no', despite not watching a single second of it, nor any of his predictions having come true.

Oh dear. I am not denying there are empty seats at many many many PDC events. But what is plane to see is that the events you attended and claimed to be half full was complete and utter bullshit as the video evidence proves beyond doubt.

Less than 1k people attended.
We had the first fight at King Georges Hall in Blackburn(Between Blackburn and Burnley Fans), and i'm convinced thats where the Barney Army chant came from.

Think it was either 1000 or 1500 people.

Dave's average share of viewing in 2015 was about 1.65% but I don't know the split by day ie, whether the weekend is normally higher of lower than the average. 2016 so far is slightly down on last year.
Interesting, thanks for the stats.

It will also be interesting to hear DAVE's feedback - ie Do they consider this to be a success, what were they hoping for etc etc.

As an aside, may as well lob the WGP ones into the pile:

Sunday 34k (!!!)
Monday less than 120k (did not chart in top ten on SS1)
Tuesday 154k
Wednesday 120k
Thursday 99k
Friday 141k
Saturday 152k.

Looking at this the BDO had comparible viewing figures . Interesting.

One is a free channel available to all and the other is a premium subscription one with dwindling subscriber numbers (judging by the news the other day that PL football figures are down 19%). Very hard to compare on that basis.

I would have though if Dave were happy with how it went last time, they would have signed up to show the Masters by now...
