World Cup winner Vicky Pruim went out 1st round , as did Casey Gallagher who lost to Roz Bulmer , then Roz beat Corrine Hammond the no4 seed .

Sick of hearing about that Roz.

Inspirational young lady 2 years ago was having Chemo for cancer , played this event last year and it gave her confidence to do more comps a few weeks later won £1500 at Vauxhall winning singles . Deta was bit fortunate to beat Sarah Roberts in last 32 , 2/0 up 3/2 down Sarah hit 180 in deciding leg then both missed doubles to win . Anne Marie Potts 2/0 up on Lisa Ashton missed darts to go 3/0 up , no 3 and no4 seeds failed to make semis so not entirely predictable .

Busy day tomorrow Open event , 1st round losers comp no entry fee £150 winner paid out to last 4 and 6 stage matches .

Congrats Sharon Prins winning the Classic 6/0 against Anastasia , losing semi finalists Deta Hedman and Lorraine Winstanley.
Lorraine Winstanley won the open 6/0 against Anastasia losing semi finalists Deta and Lisa Ashton .
In first round losers comp Jo Locke wired Duble 12 for a nine darter .
