Durrant No.1 BDO Rankings

Post by ChrisW »

How long has Durrant been no.1 now?

Will he pick up the missing trophy in January at the lakeside?

For me, Durrant will finally win at the Lakeside, cementing his place as by far the best player in the BDO.

Durrant has possibly peaked too early, this will go bad for him.

4-2 defeat in the second round.

The bigger question will be will he switch, getting to last chance saloon in terms of how many years he has left at the top.

With the likelihood of Taylor retiring this year after the battering he took in the final of the World Matchplay there is room for Durrant to join the PDC circuit.

What's the PDC when you can have LOYALTY? Durrant doesn't have the balls to switch. He prefers winning opens throughout Europe for a laughable prize money over joining the PDC and playing top darts.

Assuming Lakeside actually takes place I think Durrant will win it in 2017.

It's been long known BDO players prefer winning titles & trophies, the money appears to be secondary.

Yeah but what kind of titles? The BDO titles hold no prestige except the 3 majors. 2 of them isn't sure to happen this year.

They've all got to retire at some point. Must admit thought bunting was a bit young.

I bet these people wish they were still active.
I mean, winning the next Lakeside with an 80-ish average (the pressure, oh the pressure!), filmed in SD by at least 2 prepaid-smartphones and broadcasted world wide via some youtube clone... isn't that what every professional dreams of?
