You would think a professional darts player would be a bit miffed they hadnt cleared up 121 in 9 darts and wouldnt treat it as a joke. But maybe thats just me. There is a happy middle ground between a "strop" and "laughing it off", but I am sure you know that.

I'd argue with Adams that he's seen and done it all now that losing the odd game is not the end of the World anymore. Look at his reaction to losing to Chris Mason at Lakeside in 1999 though and there isn't a smile or chuckle to be seen.

He's bang on the money about Leighton Bennett as well. There's being upset when you lose and then there's being a petulant little shit. He is definitely the latter.

I'm father to a petulant 13 year old and I'm the first to criticise him. Helps build character as far as I'm concerned.

I don't disagree with you btw, just some people seem to think we aren't allowed to slag him off because of his age.

So professionals when they get a bit older can slack off a bit, and that is OK? Interesting. Wonder how many 63 year old airline pilots and bus drivers are out there? :WWWW:

I'm sure if it was important he would be more mindful, it isnt

He was a silly price. Sadly he turned into a giggling old buffoon when the chips were down.

Still it's good to see you recognise the class of the man and it's duly noted.
