Williams articulating that he would have declined his Tour card should he have got through Q School.
If that was the case why did he play all 4 days, as he could have played Challenge Tour having stayed at Q School for 1 day.
Because playing 1 day wouldn't have told him what the 4-day competition was really like and he wasn't missing other competitions by playing all the days?
He might simply not feel ready or able. A bad PDC Tour player will spend their year playing in Wigan and Barnsley behind closed doors, and he'd be doing it with an almost entirely different set of players around him.

Easy to say you would have turned it down if you werent good enough to win one in the first place....
On a similar note, If Man City offered me 200 grand a week to sign for them, I'd turn them down as I think the money in the Premier league is bad for the game. Honest.

Having watched the interviews in my last 2 posts, have to say that the PDPA and according to them the players do not have too many issues with the DRA.
Both Manley and Warriner articulating that the players are aware of where the lines are.
