Other than pointing out spelling mistakes, any other contribution you would like to make to to the thread?

Interesting interview from Matt Porter there...
-Talked about events in all sports being squeezed outside of the major events (i.e. World Championships) in terms of profile and ticket sales. Maybe the PDC should no longer market this as "the hottest ticket in sport"? He said tickets were 21 EUR, which to be fair is good value considering you'd struggle to get a decent feed anywhere in Dublin for that.
-There will be 13 European tour events next year, they just haven't all been arranged yet.
-Las Vegas may not happen next year but North America remains in their plans.
-Met with Des Selecta last weekend re BDO players in the GSOD, but reaffirmed who plays is the PDC's ultimate decision.
-Was moaning that the media were giving out spoilers for the delayed broadcasts for the WSOD - people in wanting to watch live sport shocker!
-They've made a decision over the participation of Leighton Bennett, "which everyone has agreed on" and they'll announce what it is later in the month.
-There WILL be female participants (plural) in the GSOD.
-Hinting at £15m of prize money in 2020.

For me think it is disappointing that the PDC are not allowing the BDO autonomy this year to pick their strongest 8 players as it is hard enough for their best 8 to make any impact, let alone having 25% of their spots potentially taking up by their leading lady players.
Des Jacklin should be standing up for the organisation, but is letting his players down and making a complete mockery of his stance of strong leadership within the BDO.

You really expect any of these "darts journalists" to do a piece which has the potential to antagonise? They would rather stick to the slurping interviews and the endless "previews" of events.

This is the second time I have asked, they haven’t even the balls to reply.
