Just to add, the ET qualifiers are a worse value proposition this year anyway for players who can't also get into the PC events. Last year it was 10 qualifiers played on 5 dates (one of which was right in Q School week), this year it'll be 12 qualifiers played on 9 dates. The turnaround between qualifying and main draw is also much shorter for most events, sometimes only one week. Pretty clearly the PDC is trying to discourage part-time players.

So why not publish it before Q school ??
Or was it only thought of Tuesday?
Numbers would have been down.

I doubt this tactic will work for the players who think they are capable.

There is. You get your card taken off you if you don't play a certain amount of events.
10 events. That's not enough. Should be a higher barrier.

Finally got an answer back as to why my bwin account got blocked, apparently they thought it was a fake account being used by people to get more bets in for the darts as people were not being allowed to put the bets on they wanted

I've now got to sent them photo I'd to get my account unbanned

Its rubbish. What harm were the guys outside the top 32 doing anyway? More needless rule changes.

It hugely benefits players from the UK once more because they are the only ones capable of travelling to the events. I feel it's a good sign they try to protect the places of Tour Card holders to some extent.

Adding some actual value to the Tour Card is always great. I'd even suggest that they should make the ET qualifiers reserved only to card holders.

TBH of rather somebody talented enough to do some damage when he does turn up have one than someone whose going to
Lose first round pretty much every week. It makes no diffrence anymore as all events get fied with 128 so no byes.

Besides, he has already announced he'll try to get to the UK as often as possible. You have the start from somewhere. Otherwise there would never be any opportunity for an Asian player to make it as a pro. And this guy has played Q-school twice and picked up his card at both occasions, so the talent is obviously there.

I wonder if Stuart will take a card this time.
