I'm guessing it wasn't designated a "major" until 2008.

The point I was making was pretty consistent with what I have said on forums since I ever started using them. There's the elite then theres the rest.

Anyone who read it any different needs to do GCSE English again. As they have obvious reading difficulties.

Just shows really, no interest in averages at all really, even when mentioned they are dismissed even though both running over 100 throughout.
On those boards too, i reckon you could add 15 - 20 points with technology, very few could live with that level today.
Once again Gregory showing his frailty, as said, if he could hit a double......

I haven't watched a Priestley match for a long time, and I'd forgotten the intensity and concentration with which he played.No doubt at all that they could give today's players a run for their money.

No no no no Bristow is rubbish and his five World titles were won in crap fields, all because he criticised Durrant on Twitter and hit a 53 average once, the Fanatics on FB said so...

Bristol won all his titles in united strong fields. Anyone questioning his achievements is either troll,idiot or possibly both.

If anyone posts on bdof that opinion is automatically that of every player, official, fan, historian, executive, organiser or admin.
It doesn't matter if anyone disagreed with that post or if it were serious or in many cases whether it was even made in the first place, that is how stupid everyone associated with the bdo now is, oh and bitter and jealous.

Phil Taylor made 8 100 plus averages in 10 matches during his two appearances in 2006 and 2007 BDO World darts trophy, i reckon Phil must have more 100 plus averages in PDC majors on his own than have been made in entire history of all the BDO

Updated for the three at the World Trophy. Duzza now 3rd on the all time BDO list with 12 ton-plus averages in BDO majors, behind Barney and Adams. Bunting only managed two in his BDO career.
