Paddy, can't see the BT action. They push folks forward to make it look good for TV.

What's it actually like there?

The overall quality has been better than some recent Lakesides to be honest....not too long ago I remember one with only five 90 plus averages in the whole event....
There have been some decent showings this year....the averages were never ever going to match Ally Pally and only a fool would think they would be close....nothing to do with equipment !... but it's not been a bad Lakeside....not a patch on ones around 1996 to 2005 or so...but better than some recent ones for sure.

Yes, high world class stellar quality - provided that you are blind, deaf and don't know what the goal of the game is.

How's the booze flowing today, 4th or 5th tetra pak 50-cent-cider already?

Back in the day in my kindergarden group we were like 20 guys with equal chances to win a darts match, by your definition we were better than the BDO. And we probably would be today.

Fitton's performance was equal parts car crash and sublime. Imagine if he could finish.

Thought Blackwell should have pushed him a lot closer. Unable to take advantage of Daryll's poor doubling.

Blackwells scoring was very poor though he couldn't get close enough most of the time to take advantage.

No chance it was Paddy he's too busy hiding in Wolfie's hotel room closet, basking in the musk of the great man.
