Think tonight's fare has actually been quite disappointing so far.

For me Hughes has been the biggest disappointment tonight, as he clearly is a very capable player.

I agree that was dire, I think some of the issue is players are not use to stage and tv cameras.

We see in the PDC now more than ever that the top 8 and those invited to events have a big advantage over the PDC players who dont.

How's the booze flowing today, 4th or 5th tetra pak 50-cent-cider already?

Back in the day in my kindergarden group we were like 20 guys with equal chances to win a darts match, by your definition we were better than the BDO. And we probably would be today.
:DDD: :DDD:

Right this is why coin flipping world championship is so massively watched across the globe...everyone with equal chance of winning.

Try soft tip, the whole thing is designed to make it more competitive for more people. Surprised that is on TV all over the globe.

The PDC ET's provide a good training ground. Maybe not the same size crowds as the majors or major exbo's in the PDC, but it is noise, stage and important money/ranking.

True that, although some clowns think that the only stage that has an effect is THE mighty leakside lakeside stage and its magic pressure.
For the bumbling BDO bunch who already want to point at the GSOD: No, getting to play some exhibitoion matches for a free amount of money that equals an average BDO career does not mean pressure but sheer and undeserved luck.

Have to say always look forward to see Durrant play.

He has been at a consistently high standard on tv for some time, and personally think he will be the first player to hit a ton plus averages at the Lakeside World Championship since Bunting in 2014.
