BDO Ranked Tournament Prize Money 2017 - Men
As with last year, only looking at those tournies that garner BDO Invitation ranking points. Unlike last year, I'll split them into Region, and show them all, to give an idea of the rewards available in each area. The first one could be the exchange rate at around 5% but the last is a big drop alright.oche balboa wrote:Turkish Masters £3,670 £2,950 -£720

Maybe a better comparison would be to look at the funds in Euros. From the 2016 flyer:
Turkish Masters 2016 - €4230 total mens fund.
Turkish Open 2016 - €9860 total mens fund
What are the amounts on the 2017 flyer?

So almost 20% cut for any player who lives in Euroland. As for British players, will depends what the exchange rate is in October I guess.

Re: BDO Ranked Tournament Prize Money 2017 - Men
I used current BDO exchange rates for both 2016 and 2017, so the comparison is valid. The Ladies is down more in percentage terms I thinkGinge wrote:Maybe a better comparison would be to look at the funds in Euros. From the 2016 flyer:

But they all had a good time.

Suppose its the issue that arises with a British promoter converting their budget from Sterling to Euros....

A few of them are based on the info on the flyer saying that they are BDO ranked eg Estonian Open and Masters. But most of them are on the calendar. The Jolly Man wrote:How many of the events above are currently not on the calendar?
