New darts magazine show?

Just watched it. Another good show. Nice and varied.

Mervin king reckons he can still win the world championship.

Nice to see a bit of the players championship in Dublin.

Kyle Anderson did a ok job as guest pundit. Good to hear how his dad knows and worked with Bob Anderson.

Bob Anderson still playing super league. Believes the pdc saved darts and many a darts players career. His proudest moment: being captain of England! Yikes, shoots me down! Though he did say the England team at that point was a who's who of world darts.

Good for kids this show. Explaining how the system works re rankings.

The show doesn't set the world alight but does a good job as a monthly programme.

Itv4 doing a cracking job with their coverage of tournaments and serving darts well with this show.

Out of interest am I the only one who watched it?

2 good features:

John Lowe (who hit 3 bulls whilst being filmed). Seems a nice guy.

Glen Durrant. Talking about moving to the pdc again.

I do like the behind the scenes stuff.

And good to see itv4 at the gsod and also a bit more (I think) actual sky footage.

Itv4 and sky working closer together. A itv4 highlights package of ally pally in the offing?

I do like the way ITV will mention Sky events ..Sky are incredibly loathe to even recognise an event not on Sky...and not just in darts...

As explained countless times before, the programme is NOT made by ITV. It is made by Matchroom, which is in essence the PDC...

fair point. But it does grind a bit when sky won't mention events on itv4 (though they seem to be a bit more open to that).

still itv4 must have made the decision to schedule this on Wednesday night. All positive for the PDC.

Yes but ay least it portrays real darts, they don't make things up to make themselves look like choir boys when they are clearly not.

Nice, short feature on the jdc in the 1st half of the prog.

It looked so professional. Great set up. Kids playing in this and seeing that big welcome sign with a picture and message from mvg would set the scene.

Steve brown : many future stats of the pdc will be from the jdc. Pub, super league, county will still have its place I guess (1000's in that system ) but if I had a 14yr lad getting into darts on the tv where would I take him? The pub or the jdc?

anyone else impressed with what we saw?
