Doesn't matter, Ginges rule is that if it's mentioned by one member then it's automatically the opinion of every member on here.Rout wrote:I'm starting to think it's either fluff or a wind up account to be honestGinge wrote:This from a person who said Whitlock only drinks half a pint before matchesRout wrote:Bump for GingeWizardofozFan wrote: I'd back any of the top 16 to be able to beat any of the old generation, they take it more seriously, practice more and achieve greater things in my view. Find me another.

No chance any player can perform to the high standard of Simon with more than let's say half a pint, maybe a pint. Nobody knows for sure, but to play to that high level, you can't afford to drink heavily anymore. WOW, do you genuinely believe that none of the top players drink more than a pint?WizardofozFan wrote:No chance any player can perform to the high standard of Simon with more than let's say half a pint, maybe a pint. Re: Uk Open Qualifiers
I really hate the UK open being in March, like real bad.
It always used to be in June which was a far better slot. No distractions from football or racing and something to look forward too on the first Saturday in June, sit there all weekend watching it and the only highlight.
Now where it is, it's mixed in with a load of other sport, gets lost amongst other activities and unbelievably takes away from the Previous nights Premier League
I firmly believe it needs to return to its slot in June.

It won't move back whilst it's broadcast by ITV4. The June date was unavailable think because they are already screening the Tour de France cycling.
Re: Uk Open Qualifiers
Darts is the second most watched sport on tv though.

TdF is in July and sometimes the back end of June.malcy93 wrote:It won't move back whilst it's broadcast by ITV4. The June date was unavailable think because they are already screening the Tour de France cycling.
In any case the PDC World Cup now occupies that slot more or less.

Used to be a good Friday session. Drinking in the afternoon in the beehive in the sun then a steady walk down to the reebok for a good evening before back to the pub for the karaoke at nightGRAYISALEGEND wrote:I really hate the UK open being in March, like real bad.

I always perform better when pissed. That's why I was the designated drunk driver.
