The usual questions:

- which Tour Card holders are missing?
- How far down the Reserve list did they have to go to fill the spaces?

They should just start offering 135 Tour Cards from now on, you are never going to have 128 all in the same place all at the same time.

People may have missed the deadline. Wont apply in all 11 cases, though.

They should just do away with tour cards and let anybody play, obviously the interest isn't what it once was............

Phil Taylor and Terry Jenkins are a waste of a card now as well. At least when you utlize your ridiculous criteria

Not that surprising, as a lot of overseas players are high on the reserves list

Why would Part or Razma get a tour card and not play? Isn't Part in the UK anyway as he's commentating on Sky?
Price missing out is interesting news.
Good to see Mick Todd, Lerchbacher and Portela playing.

Razma already stated that he's only looking at the UK Open and European Tour qualifiers to start out with, for financial reasons. Though that was back before it became known that the ET qualifiers would be tacked on to the Nordic Tour for him now, so maybe that has freed up some resources for him to do the PC weekends as well. At any rate, he was already over twice for the UKOQs this month and probably budgeted to make another trip for the UK Open, so maybe the schedule is just too crowded for him at the moment.

As for masticman, do you never get tired of repeating the same thing over and over? Must be closing in on five years now that you keep going on about overseas players, and nowadays you're not even making any effort to win a tour card yourself so it just comes across as completely pointless whining. Maybe British players should just play better if they don't want to "lose" tour cards to players from abroad.

Not got a problem with any one winning a tour card. Just can't see the point of winning 1 & never useing it. 2 reasons I don't try to win my card back are
1, I can't afford to play the tour if I did win 1
2, I'm not good enough to play the tour

Could just be Gerwyn Price wanting a little break ahead of the UK Open, or may have other commitments (Wales rugby away to Scotland on Sat 25th) / his birthday coming up at start of May.

Likewise could be he missed the deadline!

So Mensur has entered, does anyone know if his wife is now ok, and if he genuinely is entering?

You seriously think he may not have entered a darts event in February because it's his birthday in May?

How wide was the grin on your face as you typed that? :D

Oh sorry, meant to type March - my birthday is May haha!

Gerwyn born 7th March, so a week and a bit after, which falls on a Tuesday this year. No idea, just speculating. It's probably that he missed deadline tbh.
