Had one myself, though even though I was convinced i'd had a heart attack my doctor thought i had torn a muscle!!! Gave me some shitty co-codamol and sent me back off to work.

Meditronic Inc are the worlds biggest manufacturers of Stents and I can confirm that their last set of accounts had net sales of $17bn and $3bn profit so I think Ian should be fine
