Wonderful afternoon at the Mecca of darts. Close games, good boards, the best of order. And Jackie. What else could you ask for.

Apparently Ross was overheard in the players bar saying he was going to Q School.

Bad mouthing the BDO board as well, apparently.

Looks like he told a friend of someone in the player's bar.

Good luck to the guy if he does go.

Just caught up with the action. Only watched the ladies match (completely ). As much as I like ladies darts it did make me think: would I watch a separate ladies event. Ladies matches one after another.

Not sure. But I did enjoy that match.

No way will the Boss man sell his soul for 30 pieces of silver. He has the BDO tattooed on his heart.

Great night of darts ahead. More close games, decent averages, good boards, proper order. And Jackie.

Can't be bothered replying now on many fb pages to the same point made by many folks.

Someone says that that wasn't a good game, not a great standard. And the replies come: I bet you couldn't play at that level. I would like to see you on that stage. Etc. Are people a bit thick?

Ah Jackie. Stick your 100 averages. Seeing the great man enjoying himself is what it's all about for me. This is the joy Lakey brings.

At ET11 in Riesa Nilsson beat Beaton, Gurney and Chisnall on the way to the quarterfinals.

Another player benefiting from the European Tour. ;-)
