Lets be fair we are almost certain who will win both the mens and womens next year as well.
Durrant had his usual wobble in one game, but is head and shoulders above everyone else.
Don't blame him for staying, could clean up every year.
As long as Mitchell doesn't win it i don't mind who does. Just hope the final tonight isn't a boring one sided yawnfest.

Yeah you’re right, we’ve already had a one sided world final in the past few weeks

I know you're on the wind up, but stop talking shiite.

What I've seen of this tournament its been up and down. I've enjoyed bits of it - I think the women's event has been good and there's been some decent and close games. But there's also been plenty of dross that shouldn't be masquerading as World Championship quality.
There is dross in all darts tournaments but you don't labour the point in every one do you?
No.
Every other post on here is slagging, nothing new i know because of the overwhelming bias on here but i just don't get why folk a) have to slag off the players and b) simply appreciate great matches, there has to be a dig.
I'm a fan of darts, i watched pretty much every dart of ally pally (i don't like the familiar matchups, i find them pedestrian) and pretty much every dart of this and enjoyed both overall and yes it does annoy me that so called dart "fans" can watch an entire tournament picking and whining about every negative while ignoring all of the positives.
Friday was probably the best day of darts in decades, yes the standard was below the PDC but it was still a brilliant, fantastic, exciting watch yet all you see on here is the usual suspects desperate to slag it off.
I've said it a few times now, why not just say it was a good day without the caveats?

I think McGeeny does not have a chance. Durrant his matches are better in avg than McGeeny

I would like nothing more than watching Durrant get beat.
But it won't happen.

Coral give McGeeney no chance.
7/1 to hit most 180s
33/1 to be king of the Oche (compared to evens for Durrant)

Think the BDO have secured either a renewal or a new broadcaster already, hope so because I'd like to go back to Lakeside next year.

Haven't we heard these rumours before Nicholas? Usually around Q School time.

2 near 50 year olds in a final
Both have zero charisma and both were close to joining the PDC which was publicly announced during Lakeside.

Even the favorite durrant said he was staying with the bdo "unfortunately"
Hardly a ringing endorsement for the bdo.
i am so sorry for my actions these last ten years, i'm going through a tough time

Mr. Durrant should really win it and in doing so finally setting a new record AVE (Taylor 1992) for a BDO final.

H2H, ddb
Durrant 6-2 McGeeney
Durrant won the last 6 matches.
