Only started watching at 3-3, having just got in from work. Thought, despite not being of the highest quality, both an entertaining and exciting match.

McGeeney had his chance when sitting on D18 with 3 darts in hand, but in all fairness, must have been under so much pressure with that 100k prize on the line, and for me it would be grossly unfair of anyone to label his misses at bottling it.

Well done to both players.

Sorry but if someone bottles it, it is totally fair to call it as it is. And unfair of you to think that you can pontificate to us unwashed darts watchers

Durrant cracking was really surprising to me. His scoring was there but his doubles went AWOL (29/88). McGeeney, aided by 49% on the doubles, had a shot despite being -8 on the AVE:

The final was dramatic and entertaining!
The quality was average.
Overall the tournament was good (for today's BDO) imo.


Anyway congrats to the old and new Lakeside Champ, Mr. Glen Durrant!!
