Why?
Going up and forth between the BDO and PDC in a tme when there wasnt such a thing as the challenge tour. Crossing the bridge was punished with a non-competitive period at the other side. I think it slowed down his progress and he would have been much further if he would have stayed at one side for a longer period of time. So thats why its funny that after all he might qualify for his first WC at the BDO.

Wasn't he banned from the pdc because he didn't pay a fine?

One of a few playing BDO because of fines accrued in the PDC

Always thought that Toon never really realised his potential - would be good to see him progress in the BDO

You do realise the UK Open hasn't been at The Reebok for 4 years?
And that Hogan had a couple of good wins before losing to the big PDC name Gerwyn Price?
Who is this cretin?

In the mens rankings. Do they take the 8 players out who are already qualified. & the rest all move up places ? Not sure how it works. Be gutted for Martin Atkins if he misses out by a few points over the cock up with entries in Denmark

Yes it's the exempt players (6 of them) plus the next highest 21. Oche has also included 28th but he will only get in if the Masters winner has already qualified.
Out of interest how many of these women are under 30? You would have thought with the increased coverage the women have had over the last few years etc there would be quite a few new faces challenging, more so than on the men's side as the player pool hasn't been as big.
