The rules quoted above state that if the Masters winner is already qualified then the place would be offered to the next in line until 22 additional players have been invited from the main table - Robbo would have been the 23rd. This could explain why Ratajski is down as Masters winner and the Eastern European spot was given to the second placed man.
Good point, you cannot enter twice, if he lost in the qualifiers he couldn't take up a spot.
Good shout.

Its not their fault,Canada doesn't and wont do whats best for their players. They are happy with how it is and wont change unless forced
At least he wont have that issue for the next 12 months....

Yeah didn't see that.
Crazy that is, how can someone be allowed to play in a competition they have already been knocked out of?
Absolute crap.

Well you have to have a standby list, lets say one of the International players cant get a visa, the rules say you go to the Main Table to fill the spot but the next 200 players all played in the Bridlington qualifier and lost.

Robbo would have actually been the 21st, he is 26th in the main list with FIVE exempt players in front of him (Durrant, Fitton, Hughes, Waites, Mitchell).
As for being ineligible if he played the qualifiers and lost - well in the days when the qualifier was held before the end of the season you had player who qualified through the table still playing in the qualifier, losing, and getting in. So it wont be for that reason.
Sam Hewson played in the qualifier and lost the year he got a late call up the other year.
I don't think Waites and Mitchell as winners in the past 3 years would affect the application of the direct invites under clause 2.01 - that says the semi finalists the previous year, then up to the next 22 spots in the main table. The previous winners don't get mentioned until 2.02 which could affect how many spots are available via the qualifiers.

Very odd how fans latch on to some players and not others. He's played in three Worlds, not as if he's played for a decade. Wild card? Amazing.
Jeff and the Canadian table winner Cameron played in the same 6 events, and Cameron wins the head to head of those events 3-2.
Also of the 4 other events, only ONE clashed with a BDO major event so him missing the other 3 was his own choice, Im failing to have much sympathy for him really.

He has a point, he had to choose either qualifying as his national number 1 or give the major events a go and hope he does well in them.
Still dont see why hes going down the PDC route though unless hes moving over here, he gave up trying to enter events last time.
