Ross Snook (of Alexandra Palace fame) and Dion Laviolette, who's been one of the country's best for a long time, are playing in the men's singles final right now. Dion is leading and is throwing pretty well.

Kim Whaley-Hilts of Ontario won the women's singles. She teamed up with Maria Mason (of Lakeside fame) to win the women's doubles on Tuesday. Men's and women's doubles are tomorrow along with the Nodor Cup team competition.

And I can update that Dion Laviolette has won the men's singles. He beat Ross Snook in the final, meaning he will be on his way to the World Masters. Top four from men's singles get spots.

John Norman, Jr. lost in the semifinals to Laviolette.

Met Kim a few times, has been a top player for a good number of years and still is obviously

Her and Dion are near the top every year it seems. Played Dion once at the Klondike Open and found out just how good he can be. Checked out 154 while I was sitting on 32 for the opening leg. Match-killer for me.

I erred in one of my earlier posts. The mixed doubles was today, not the men's and women's doubles as I had reported.

Rick Fortin and Bonnie Pelton-Sabodah of New Brunswick beat Dianne Gobeil and Bernard Beaudin of Quebec in the mixed doubles final.

World Masters update - Sheldon Fudge of Nova Scotia gets a spot in men's singles as the fifth-place finisher.

Ana still has 1 box to fill so as soon as that's filled she will move up 2 places to start with and then chip away at the lower boxes. Shows after 4 months off at you can stay near the top.

Wasn't sure which thread to post this in.

Watching Ando vs Fordham from Lakeside 2003. Great match. The Viking averaging just under 98 and Gary 99.48.

You know it did. Any day Jeff Smith loses is a great day, especially in a final.
