Over 300 entries for the mens singles, which I think is up on last year, but not sure about previous years.

Corrine Hammond is coming over for this again.

She must have a very good sponsor. Either that or she is loaded.

Last year 429 men's open 113 ladies open
278 men's classic 66 ladies classic

This year so far 306 men open ladies 88
215 men classic 66 ladies.

Deadline entries Sunday 5th midnight , entries still coming in would hope to match last years figures , as heard from IOM events that hotel bookings are up and ferry nearly full , one group of 9 travelling has only 2 playing in events !
H had a trip over there last week to check with hotels and government office responsible for event .
First effort with Frontrunner TV praying it works out well, you can do all the preparation possible but still need that little bit of good fortune etc .
Sunday looks a mega day Pokerstars have given seal of approval , last year wanted 40 sponsor places now nearer 80 .

Don't think so Chris , last year Corrine came over and stayed for Hal open , just a weekend trip this year .
People say why bother as she is back at lakeside , but she wants to be a seed as she gets hotel room for duration rather than until you lose.
In fairness IOM is an A and A+ for ladies no events with those cats in Aussie.

So someone has forked out for a trip to Europe for her to enter a couple of ranking events so she doesn't have to pay for a hotel room for a couple of weeks?

Erm....OK(!)

Nobody has forked out for Corrine to attend has a good job ! Maybe even thinking of doing maybe some work time over here and do the full tour 1 year , Corrine really enjoyed IOM last year rates it as one of the best she's ever been too .

Great character is Corrine has a unique way of dealing with Jet lag , just arrive where you fly to and go on the drink
