Premier sports don't have that much live rights for sport, Sky have loads and show a pittance on their Sky Sports Mix channel so I cant imagine that are going to show loads on this new free channel, Premier subscribers may get a bit narked.

Going a bit off track here as has anyone in the BDO confirmed they are talking to this channel. If not yet another reason they should be replaced.

Okay they may not pay anything but it's better than Frontrunner where you had to pay them.

You have to suspect it was a last resort taking back north. Lakeside obviously don't want to keep it. The BDO have burnt bridges with quite a few people recently with regards all the none adventures. May well be a case of take it or leave it unfortunately.

Or the BDO realised that having all three of their big events at the same location was stupid, at least they are all in different places this year.

Cant imagine Potter has any issue with the darts being at his gaff three times a year. Hes a businessman after all.

You can expect a new sign to be put up forthwith; he just needs some dodgy ink for his printer. He can place it alongside the 'mind the ice signs.

Didn't someone say at the time of the WDT that Potter has said that he didn't want anything else apart from the worlds.

Think someone said it but I doubt the validity of it, the alternative is an empty room for a weekend, why would he turn two other goes at the darts per year down?

Unless he has gone a bit senile in his old age.

Look at the crowds for the WDT, would Potter take a gamble on a few dozen ticket sales, staff and electricity alone would be double the ticket take.

He would still be making money IMO, remember the occupancy rate of the hotel would get a boost as well.

Why have they brought back the seeds getting a bye into the last 32 if it's on midweek and it'll probably not be no tv.

BDO have said it isn't or have gone as far to imply it won't be. Why should we not believe them.....

Because, as I guess you know, they have a history of last minute coverage that saves the boards skin.

If it was said on an obscure Internet forum full of bdo haters then it must be true.
