If he cant qualify through the defined criteria then it's tough titties.

Rule 1.1?

The PDC would love Adams there and if they're calling the shots on 8 x BDO players now then I'm surprised they haven't used the spare Masters place for Adams. Of course, by the time of the cut-off Adams could well qualify by right anyway.
The PDC would love Taylor there. Unless he reaches the Matchplay or WGP final he won't be qualifying for it. Can't imagine him bothering playing the qualifier.
They would be shoehorning Taylor in (one of their own) long before Adams gets a consideration.

Sure but that isn't the point, there are 8 x BDO players and clearly the PDC asked Adams to be there (which the BDO and he agreed) for the past two years, why not again?

I'd like to see Adams in, would prefer him to Montgomery or Labanauskas to be honest.
But I'm not sure the PDC would do everything to get him in, he was brilliant in 2015, but his laughing around as a gimmick has become a bit stale last year, and he didn't play well at all. Last 2 years he got there on merit, now I don't think they'll shoehorn him in.

He won an event, got to a final or was in the top 4 not already qualified in those two years.

As it stands this no longer applies.

I'll be astonished if Monty accepts the invitation, should he be offered it.
I however would love to see him in it.
Hopefully the crowd will give him a load of gyp and give him the hump.

It will be interesting to see what he does having said that a choice should be made and stuck to, i doubt he has the luxury that Adams has.

90% of the crowd would probably have no idea who he was TBF
Agree with this. The casual fan would have been aware of Adams as a bdo loyalist. Because he was turning down slam places as world champion.

Maybe Monty should take the chip off his shoulder and use the opportunity to his advantage if he gets one. Increase his profile, more exhibitions etc.
Trouble is, he has always been a spiteful short arse, can't see that changing.

I think it's funny that a guy that has simply said make a choice and stick to it is now demonised and has a chip on his shoulder.
The fanboys mentality I guess.

It would be unfortunate if that were the case. I still hope he accepts it if he earns it. Wouldn't be 100% shocked if he turned it down but stranger things have happened.

I'd say it was more you just twisting something he said to suit your agenda than guessing.
