Re: 2018 Premier League
9 of them are in the top 10 of the past 1 year OoM which is a good reflection of form. Barney the only one outside.
Hard to argue with it really.

Re: 2018 Premier League
Works with the two-year OOM, too. Outside Taylor it's the top 12 minus Chisnall and Wade, who've both really crapped the bed in TV tournaments this past year. Agreed, not much to argue with in that selection IMHO.

Re: 2018 Premier League
Rout in fine form
Re: 2018 Premier League
For a "glorified exbo" as it's called, some care plenty about who is in and isn't. Some are probably upset that Wade/Lewis/Chizzy aren't in so they can't moan about them getting in!

Re: 2018 Premier League
Was pissed of last time Wade missed out. Cant argue this time.
Dont think Lewis or Chizzy deserve it with their 2017 efforts, Barney got lucky in my opinion.

Thinking of one.
Re: 2018 Premier League
Sky's picks were Barney and Smith. Gurney got in for his WGP win, Mensur for the Champions League win, Whitlock for WGP runner up and Price for UK Open final.Tristan wrote:who are the picks by sky?

He is not giving an opinion (he would have said, "I don't care who is in the PL), he's stating what he considers a fact: no-one cares. Well he's wrong, lots of folks were interested.
Secondly he makes a fundamental error. What he really is saying is the Pl isn't something of interest but starts with talking about the selection. You can actually lose (or have little) interest in the PL when it starts and yet still be interested in who actually is selected.
I, along with many others, watched the celebrations after the final but also continued watching to see what hearn had to say and who had been selected.

He is sarcastically giving his opinion, Crikey Marvin I know you are blinded by the light but even you must know that the vast majority of the audience of these things don't even care who's in it loldevosteve wrote:He's not right, just trolling or deluded.Addicks Fan wrote:And he's right - the tickets are already sold, so why the angst?BlueSpark wrote:Rout in fine form

Far to much moaning on here about the premier league, There must be loads of people like me who love watching darts, no matter what tournament it is or whose in it, whether it's a ranking event or not as long as it's competitive I'll always watch
Re: 2018 Premier League
you would think so wouldn't you. But the trolls can't help themselves on here. At least Rout is gone, you did wonder why he actually watched Darts at all.JOEY wrote:Far to much moaning on here about the premier league, There must be loads of people like me who love watching darts, no matter what tournament it is or whose in it, whether it's a ranking event or not as long as it's competitive I'll always watch
