Cross playing much better but seems to have a touch of the Mensurs going on with the back leg flying in the air, or is this normal and I never noticed before?

Looking like the drop in form from Mr Cross was definitely a blip on the radar.

Another good game.

Comments earlier that mensur not as sharp because he went home instead of playing UK open qualifier. Difficult for him though if he is a family man.

Cross got over his blip. Nice win.

Some tension after the game between Cross and Wright - why?

Good game between Wright/Cross though Wright was having a good whinge at Cross, for walking too close?

Nicholson and rawlings work well together as do Mason and nigel Pearson.

Nicholson when commenting on a missed dart at a double by Wright : that one was in Sunderland!

Now it seems some aggro between cross and Wright.

Anyway: pdc on sky, itv4, BBC and talk sport. Pretty good!

Wright saying cross encroached into the exclusion zone (from the side).

I think Whitlock's easy ride will end tonight.

Seems to be an increasing amount of guff on this recently.

Pure frustration from Wright.

I think they invent it to try to add tension.

Michael Smith - what a start to the year he's had.

Finally about to realise his potential?

Though Wright is not usually the sort of player to act like that, strange to see really.

Fine line between confidence and arrogance. Hard call with Cross interview:

When asked about getting some wins under his belt at the weekend he said (paraphrase from memory) : "it's been tough since the world's. I lost my routine. But I have got it back. And when I have it back the other players better beware. "

Came over as confident to me rather that than arrogant.

Must admit I agree with you on this Ian , remember talking to Nicholson at Crawley when he took over the baddie role from Manley , promise of PL place is a great incentive to change persona .
