Wright saying cross encroached into the exclusion zone (from the side).
Seems to be an increasing amount of guff on this recently.
I think they invent it to try to add tension.

Must admit I agree with you on this Ian , remember talking to Nicholson at Crawley when he took over the baddie role from Manley , promise of PL place is a great incentive to change persona .
but in context that doesn't apply to Wright. He's a good guy persona. He's already in. Maybe genuine misunderstanding by him?
Or is ifm correct in implying it's made up for the tension/ talking point it creates.

He is a confidence player at the moment. But you can not deny the guy has so much talent.

Definitely confidence if you ask me. If you don't believe you are a threat to everyone when you're in form you have no business competing at this level. Add to that that Cross is the reigning world champion and ofcourse he should be confident about his ability, even after a slight dip.
Never understood why some people have a problem with players expressing their confidence. As long as it's in a way that is respectful to other players nothing wrong with it at all.
Composed and clinical yet again from Whitlock there. He's checking out at 55% of all doubles hit so far in 3 weeks (21/38), 58% tonight, which is superb.
I know as much as the next person that he will still lose games in the coming weeks, even MVG's lost so far, but a brilliant start I'm so chuffed for him.

It's a great start...still hasn't arrived hope in he'll of winning the thing...or reaching the final..
MVG v Ando is what the PL is about, 2 players at their peak slugging it out and can still shake hands and smile about it after the match.
Seems like some players are putting too much pressure on themselves and taking it all a bit too seriously, it is a non ranking event after all, need to relax and enjoy it more and play their best darts.
Smith and Whitlock have really blown things wide open.
Mensur Suljovic 2-7 Michael Smith
Daryl Gurney 6-6 Gerwyn Price
Peter Wright 4-7 Rob Cross
Gary Anderson 3-7 Michael van Gerwen
Simon Whitlock 7-4 Raymond van Barneveld

Looking forward to the coming Thursday nights.
First game was a surprise, Cross v Wright could have gone either way, the rest were bankers, everyone in the pub seemed to have Gurney v Price as a draw as they were all crying at 5-1
"it's the same trolls spouting the same crap every other post.... you have to be some kind of sad act to watch nearly 8 hours of darts a day for 9 days just to post about how crap it is"
