They could discipline me for leaking all those letters last year, this is no different.
Would they ever try to implement a ban where no BDO player can work with him? They wouldn't be that stupid, surely?
Looking at the system rather than just this incident:

I think both Paul and Tony M said that after the delegates meeting things were made a lot clearer re how the system works. Would be nice to know why they were quite positive about it.

Clearly the system is to go for people they have no actual jurisdiction over....

It's a little known fact, but Tommy Cox has £241,350 in outstanding fines from the BDO.

I don't think legally they could fine Dobinson ..well..none they could enforce anyway...
I think they will probably fine him though and state that until paid they will not allocate any points to any tournament he organises.....so that would be meaningless.....
..and I honestly think they will do what the BDO did at the time of the split and ban their players from his events..... this cannot be legally enforceable and any player should tell them to do one ..

Wonder if des now regretting taking on this position?
What do you actually think the BDO can do to him ffs.

This is all a Des Jacklin power trip and nothing else.
The power given to them by the board inreturn for support no doubt.

What action can they take against him? refuse to let him run any more BDO events? That ship has sailed and Wayne D. sounds like he will never have anything more to do with that shower that "run" the BDO.

BDO business lesson number 5: Punish anyone who tries to run an event by slapping ridiculous charges on top of an already agreed format and threaten them when they back out and make the details public.

He's an easy target for des jacklin to try and pretend he has some sort of power. He's not a player so there's no danger of them just doing one to the pdc. And he's an active social media user so des knows it will get publicised. Thus feeding his ego without consequence.

You've got a good memory :IIII:

There quite possibly is mate but as no contract was signed then surely he would not be bound by anything let alone have a disciplinary for it.
