Only Lakeside, will be there again next year on the Friday afternoon. When my kids are a bit older I might be able to indulge a bit more. Wish I could play, but years of playing cricket have ruined my shoulder. Oh, and I have no talent!

Shame we normally go on the Tues/Wednesday evening sessions......It's nice to see that you appreciate proper darts. :headbang: :headbang:

Fanatics think the coverage has been great, despite it looking no better than every other event the company has covered. Hurray for FrontRunner!

It's actually worse

I don't think they realise how much pisspour coverage like this will put off tv companies and sponsors

tv is "everything"
"it's the same trolls spouting the same crap every other post.... you have to be some kind of sad act to watch nearly 8 hours of darts a day for 9 days just to post about how crap it is"

Someone has called them out on the quality, Adrian says it's better than the World Trophy and the problems there.

Not sure why the colours change so much when hey switch cameras. Basic stuff to sort.

Well the coverage is fantastic according to some. No one can truly believe that.

Then again some took years to realise the bdo had lost their battle with the pdc. Barry hear was only interested in the top 32: then all of a sudden he stole a March on the bdo big time.

I get folks want to be positive but I think it is counter productive to make out this is superb.

The problems at the WDT had nowt to do with the people doing the broadcast. Battersby is deluded beyond belief.

Second point is to someone talking about the PDC, but that doesn't stop you setting things up properly so the angles are right and cameras are white balanced. Doesn't cost to put a camera in the right place.

Adrian, amusingly, waiting for someone to say Indoor League looked better. If you compare the technology available to them, and the lack of 40+ years of televised darts to learn from...

"Front Runner is moving away from Freeview to develop other digital platforms"

http://www.a516digital.com/2017/06/fron ... -from.html

This should all mean the cost of coverage will now be less, no way can FR ask for the same amount of money now they have cut millions of people from getting the channel....

As an aside, Battersby should be asking for a partial refund unless he knew the channel was getting pulled. Given nobody else did, I doubt he knew.
