Problem here is that hardly anything is on the telly.
Like now the worlds will be on "Eleven Sports" but only on their third channel and that is only viewable by one of the 2 big providers. If they would give it on the first or second channel then it would also be possible to view it with the other provider.

Further there is almost nothing on the telly here, not even the Euro's were on. Like I said it in the Euro-thread. There was here (almost) nothing of promotion for this tournament.

We had the Premier League also on Eleven, but also lots of weeks on their 3rd channel and then there was the Champions League which we could follow on the BBC.

Another young Belgian doing well now they have got rid of the EC from their I think they should give it a ET event.

I agree Germany has enough take 1 away from them. Then they would make 6 around euope 7 in Germany bit more of even split

KEVIN MUNCH and Kenny Neyens have secured places in the William Hill World Darts Championship following qualifying events in Europe.

Left-hander Munch, who previously competed in the 2012 World Championship at Alexandra Palace, won the German Superleague Finals in Monchengladbach on Saturday.

He bounced back from a Group B loss to Rene Berndt by defeating Nico Kurz and Stefan Stoyke before overcoming Rene Eidams in the semi-finals.

Munch then denied Dragutin Horvat a second successive World Championship appearance by winning the final 10-3.

Sunday's Central Europe Qualifier in Maastricht saw youngster Kenny Neyens - a Development Tour event winner in 2016 and 2017 - win the all-Belgian final against Davyd Venken 6-4.

The 22-year-old from Antwerp also defeated Davy van Baelen and Wesley Plaisier in the latter stages of the event as he secured a World Championship debut.

What don't make sense to me is why there is such a short window between the draw being done and the start of this competition. I understand the reasons why but this is ludicrous, gives players little or no time to plan things. Not good for a professional org when their players get treated with little or no respect.

Suppose the only logical solution to that is to perhaps cut the season off at the end, lets say, October and everything in November wont count towards qualification for the Worlds at all until the year afterwards, not as if there are any floor events in November anymore anyway.

I know some of the local qualifiers do include the travel costs as part of the prize for winning it, if this is the case for all of them I have no idea.

Isn’t the last tournament the pc finals, once that’s done they can do it and any qualifiers left can be just put in the draw like they do for the Euro tour events
