Taylor's celebration after winning the 5th set is a joy to behold....in slow motion. :DDD:
Lewis might have blown this, really needs to screw his nut and start hitting those doubles.

I hope is ok....the scene in the USA when he stuffed himself with cannabis ice cream and was really ill was the funniest moment on TV this year.....hope he's fine..
What a reminder, forgot about that.
Meant to watch it and missed it then forgot.
Is it on YouTube?

Taylor below par and still 4-1 up.

Lewis missed too many pressure double 16s. Can’t see him coming back

Good match thus far, the Green Mile between the sets for me.
You watching the Green Mile?
Yep
My 2nd fave film ever.
Deffo top 10 for me.
Green Mile is a cracker, deemed a sequel of sorts to Shawshank Redemption. Shawshank for me the greatest film of all time, one of the only ones that can illicit tears from me every time I see it. Beautiful music, beautifully acted.

Taylor hits a 180 at just the right time. Might dislike him but you have got to admire him.

Deciding leg in the 6th sey and Taylor starts with a 180. Man, what a player.

5-1. Game over folks.

Whatever happens this has been an incredible tournament from Jamie Lewis. Guaranteed £85,000, well inside the top 32 of the world, and a great chance to kick on in 2018. Played well in this semi-final, just his timing has been off second set onwards when it really matters. All tournament his timing has been impeccable, so harsh to criticise, particularly one so young.

Taylor getting better set by set. What a player.

Can't argue with this post.

When Lewis celebrates the new year and looks back on 2017 he will know he finished the year on a positive.

It will be interesting how he does next year. Surely he is not a kirk shepherd?

Lewis goes 2-0 up and Taylor does his little patronising smile. Lewis ignores. Good. Let's make it it 5-2.

Great film indeed, haven't gotten round to reading the book yet. What's your favourite film?
Show my age now, this came out as a series of books, 5 I think at 1 a month. Was a tad frustrating.
1996 isn't that long ago Ranny. ;)

I read somewhere this might be one of the few instances
where the film is better than the book(s). How do you feel about that?
I'd say maybe evens, I last listened to it as an audiobook, heading out in the dark at 5am. What I will say the film followed the book almost to the letter.

Yes surely not, but we know he's not another Kirk because he's done well in tournaments before. Beat Michael Smith a few years back at the Grand Prix from memory. So we know he has the game and has proven it here.

Lewis has been in every set, 6-1 does not reflect that match at all. Crucial doubles missed but pushed Taylor well. Taylor will have to up his game if he's going to win.
