Looks like Cadby has missed out on the first shot of a spot at the Worlds. Only finished 2nd in the dpa rankings however I'm not sure why their season has finished so early. You would think they'd do more ranking events around the WSOD and the back end of the year.

He won the Saturday event but not the Sunday event which he needed to do to have any chance. Think he has missed a couple of weekends that didn't help. He still has one more shot through the Oceanic Masters. Can't remember how youth players can qualify.

Cadby has qualified for the World Youths so if he wins that he should get a place, and as mentioned, the Oceanic Masters is still to come.

Would be a shame if he missed out, imo the most exciting player under the age of 23 in the world.

Cadby should have gone to Q-School, might become another failed prospect after jobbing around in Australia.

Darts players should have lives or personal circumstances. They should all move to within 2 miles of Robin park tennis centre in Wigan, drink water from plastic bottles, enter every tournament on the calender and practice every minute they are not "working"

Will certainly be intresting to see how he fairs at WS events down under and even more so at the GSOD

Last year he was dominating the OZ tour, this year he hasn't even won it, so this definitely indicates that his form dipped. After playing in big PDC TV events, it's not too beneficial for a player to go back to Australia where he should be the best by a mile. He will only improve if he has proper competition. Cadby qualifying for the Worlds is a must for us, darts fans.

I can vouch for it because I'm in a very similar position myself. And my relocation is Ireland let alone from Australia!

I'll be looking forward to see whether he will be making progress in the Australian part of the World Series of Darts....

Was easy to find on the old website. The new design is style over substance and a lot of things like qualifying criteria aren't visible at least to me. I am sure people would say so they can make it up as they go along.

I guess those Euro places go so they can have more overseas qualifiers, from the various countries and regions they give places to. With the expansion of the European Tour there is no need to ring fence places at the Worlds. Any decent European player should be able to get top 16 not already qualified from Pro Tour OOM to qualify.

They have taken away these country places. Think Ireland has lost its two guaranteed places at the Grand Prix.
