I don't get why Taylor would miss this event as he only play in gsod World Series before world pro anyway and he says he play in all events he qualifies for that not the case then

At a guess, Taylor absolutely hates the event, given his woes in it over the years. Yes he has won it loads but his most embarrassing defeats have been in this event.

I dont remember the last time a player in the PDC qualified for an TV ranking event but opted to miss it out of choice (so wasnt suspended or injured), you make it sound like it happens all the time.

I didn't mention a TV event specifically boss, I meant in general.
We know he's retiring soon, hardly a shock he is picking and choosing his events.

True but Im still surprised he is missing this particular one, must be solely to do with the format.

Saw some stats somewhere else. Taylor only had a 25% checkin rate at this event last year, and 50% checking out. Hates going for the double twice in a leg, clearly

If I didn't already know the draw was taking place on Sunday, I might have on the basis that what sort of idiot would post a made up draw. :omg:

But then again it was Oche.

I agree to many matchplay events but I still think they should go back to 9 sets semis and 11 sets for final in this
