PDC Order of Merit
Re: PDC Order of Merit
Gary has apparently said himself that he will be playing more of the European Tour this year.

That's better because I heard the complete opposite.dartistik wrote:Gary has apparently said himself that he will be playing more of the European Tour this year.

Well, I can't say for sure as it wasn't me he spoke to, but I was told he's talked to some representatives from PDCNB and said he'd be playing more on the tour, including the new event in Denmark.

Re: PDC Order of Merit
Right now he's joint 92 but how far will Corey Cadby go during this year? I'm curious to know and will watch his progress as this year unfolds....

Re: PDC Order of Merit
I wonder if more places should be available from success on the Challenge Tour, especially as doing well on it gets to Pro Tour access this year. Then the Challenge Tour route will be more the norm. Q School could still exist as a quick route into the but could be done to top up after the CT so to speak, or even mainly for European players. Would probably mean expanding the CT a little both with regards number of events and how you can join.
I suspect the long term aim is to have a Q School for the CT which fills all the Pro Tour places!

James Wade is in real danger of shooting rapidly down the OOM.

Re: PDC Order of Merit
Ando needs a decent season as well.
If he earns only as much ranking money in 2018 as he did in 2017, Gary Anderson could fall out of the top 16 come January 2019.

To start with he must appear and go well in the European Tournaments.... Then he must give a further push in the Majors.... Apart from winning between three and six Players Championships of course.....ssjsa wrote:Ando needs a decent season as well.

Benito is going to have to raise his game as well. He's not really progressed as much as many people would have expected.
