Advertising at the Motorpoint Arena. Still 2 months to go, so venue doing their bit to ensure this is a sell out.

Have they tried putting some laminated A4 posters up in the local working men's clubs, and sending the partners of the players round the nearby pubs to drum up some interest?

No. Potter is keeping the A4 laminater in case the lake freezes over again.

This tournament need spicing up so it not the same player against eacother so often I would expand it to 16 player top 12 ranked with top 2 from youth and challenge tour getting in 1 in each group

Have all round robin best of 11 with all knockout games best of 9 sets 3 legs make look different to other events they will need extra days so have round 1 in group on Friday night and it might get more viewers as all bbc events they covered in past had the set format

Youth and Challenge Tour players on the BBC, I wonder why Barry Hearn hasn't had that idea yet.

Goodness me.

So the 13th ranked player gets overlooked by at least 2 players not good enough to gain a tour card?!

What does it matter for a glorified exbo anyway?

You should not put undeserving players in at the expense of those that have invested time and money, it's the Lisa Ashton grand slam argument again.

Has she not also invested time and money? (Thought I'd jump in before an LDO rep!)

Given it's the BBC you should contact them to suggest they need to be addressing their diversity quotas :)

Putting in Lisa Ashton a small deflect from the Gary Lineker earns more than the women working at the BBC which seems everywhere at present.
