Latest OFCOM bulletin only covers up to the 9th July so shall keep an eye on the next one to see if they have been forced to take it off the air. May just be a rights issue or they realised they had better take it off before someone complains about it.

Viewing figures are irrelevant. Bluespark said so. Sorry you wasted your time Ginge.

It just shows the great difference and benefit of having a slot on freeview

I see channel 95 on freeview now retunes to a logo saying "Freesports TV"

"Ready, get set, go for feesport as we return sports to nearly every home in the UK for free, watch out for live events every day from Tennis to Rugby, Football and much more"

Edit
Apparently its owned by premier sports, who showed the masters last year

Says 'Arrives 31st August' on the programme guide - another short-term BDO saviour?

So if the C4/BT deal for Lakeside ends in 2018 as you say the BDO could sell to Premier Sports assuming they are still around in 2019 and have the afternoon sessions free on this new channel and the evenings for pay on Premier Sports on Sky & Virgin.

It does say in that link they are looking for sports content, so this year's Masters would be a good early opportunity for them.

Seems that article is a bit misleading, they used to be a part of premier sports but by the looks of it they left to start this business

The Sentanta sports mentioned in the article has nothing to do with the actual setanta (with is now Eire sports)

Sounds like another venture by a man who has started and closed 50+ companies.

What live tennis, rugby and football are they suddenly going to conjure out of the air?

They could go to a tennis, rugby or football match that currently isn't televised, film it, and show the results instantly on their channel.

Well it looks like Frontrunner have finally decided to give BARB what they want, so here is a roundup of the darts they have shown the last couple of months:

BDO World Darts Trophy

Friday - did not chart (so less than 5,000 viewers)
Saturday - did not chart (so less than 5,000 viewers)
Sunday - 5,000 viewers
Monday - did not chart (so less than 4,000 viewers)

EDO England Open

Saturday - did not chart (so less than 3,000 viewers)
Sunday - 4,000 viewers

Six Nations

Saturday - did not chart (so less than 3,000 viewers)
Sunday - 3,000 viewers

All look as pathetic and dire as each other, in truth.

Battersby begging for that money for the sake of 3,000 viewers :WWWW: :WWWW:

Thats the big one.

How can they get that event on TV again when the figures they have to show for it for this season are that bad

I should have said that the figures for the final event in that list came the day after Frontrunner was pulled off Freeview.

Makes me smile, what a torrid week it was for our resident naysayer
"it's the same trolls spouting the same crap every other post.... you have to be some kind of sad act to watch nearly 8 hours of darts a day for 9 days just to post about how crap it is"
