Dear Ginge

When's the Lakeside cut off?

When do events start counting towards the 2018 season?

I considered sliding into your DMs but felt bad for BlueSpark.

Cheers

Last events are the ones back end of September.
Ones from October onwards count towards 2019 Lakeside.

Yep, although I presume the points from the Winmau will also count to this year? Be two in one year if they do!

Thats the danger you get in moving it round the calendar between September and December.

Obviously common sense but avoid the Cat D single headers, its also a long shlep for just one event at the Scottish. Also could be cheaper to go to Holland/Belgium/Spain for double headers than some of the others if you are savvy.

British open / British classic will be the last 2 of this current season , the Winmau world masters will be the first of next season , the road to lakeside is important in the first few months of the season , also don't disregard D cats , would Liam have a better chance at Lithuania open than Welsh open , Poland the Sunday event is normally last man sober wins . Jersey in November a must as BDO top 8 are at grand slam , NI a good call as I believe cat being raised this year , Selsey events are good , as is the Welsh weekend just held .
Willing to help but my advice go for it first couple of months then reevaluate where he is standing January .

Liam's to do list oct/Nov
Turkey/Latvia/Salou
NI
Hungary ( double header good if doesn't play county)
Jersey
Czech
Italian grand masters

If money no object do Turkey or if budget Salou or Latvia .
Again you could do Jersey 2xBcat , Malta mon-fri A cat , Czech open B cat might go to an A .

In fairness these events will show if Liam is capable of making lakeside.
