Is there still the rule in place whereby you have to win a game before you can score any points?

If not, then the entire field of 35 ladies will be scoring points this weekend, and its a Cat A+ for them as well ffs :D

With the rankings all ending at the same time there is no point chasing for 12 months at all. The old days there was different cut off for ranking places in different events.
Wait, so an A+ event isn't attractive enough on prize money alone and it needs the Lakeside/major event carrot to be viable? The mind boggles.

(Besides, what about next year's World Trophy?)

For a Cat A+ event for the men, that is utterly pathetic. And dire.
Any darts event which gets 165 or less entries is pathetic and dire.

I think for cat A+ not get 256 or 64 woman's is poor turnout when they pay to last 64 in men's and 32 In woman's I think they should have left entries open for another week they may have scrapped 200 men's

maybe next time move to April give better chance of getting bigger numbers

Got to feel sorry for the 3 women who are going to miss out
Ah yes, 13-16 women will win money without winning a single game :D

Hard to avoid tough draws early on when a tournament field consists of the usual suspects from the high ranks and very few other players...

Ridiculous distribution of byes in the draw I see, all seeds (positioned at the top and bottom of each drawsheet) get a bye with the exception of Menzies, Reynolds and Veenstra.

Des!!!!
