Last two paragraphs of the BDO wrote up of event
The pairs events were held on Friday evening, where English duo Tony O’Shea and Gary Robson beat the Spanish pairing of Jose Sousa and Fidel Corral to win the Men’s pairs 5 legs to 2. The ladies’ final was an all British affair, with Lisa Ashton and Heather Lodge beating Trina Gulliver and Paula Jacklin 4-1 in the final. Gulliver had better success in the mixed pairs with partner Dan Nicholls, where they beat Anca Zijlstra and Dean Reynolds 5-3 in the final.
e pond, both Canada and the USA are hosting BDO ranked events. In the rolling table, Canada’s David Cameron is currently sat in 39th place, with the USA’s Jim Windmayer in 41st place. In the Women’s table the USA’s Paula Murphy, ranked 21st, is pressing for a World Championship place, with fellow American, Stacey Pace just behind in 38th position.

Well it was more to do with what on earth is the North American stuff got to do with the Vicayza Open.Ginge wrote:38th is just behind 21st?
