I doubt it, did you not see the screencap of the dodgy stream that was broadcast instead?markymark wrote:Did they show it in the end then?markymark wrote:TeleBilbao is not a national TV station, unless you're a Basque separatist I guess.

They found the insane sponsorsGinge wrote:I will be utterly amazed if they promise the same payout next year for this event, IMO it will either have to move in the calendar to get better numbers, be downgraded, or totally cancelled for 2018.
Unless they have some insane sponsors happy to chuck money at it again....

Ha! Although two ranking events has become one, so perhaps it's much more realistic now. Or maybe not, given they seemingly can't afford the one

BDO Holiday Club
40th Anniversary of the Torremolinos Festival of Darts 2019
The dates for the 2019 Torremolinos darts festival have been confirmed as 10th - 17th March 2019. It will again be played in the pool restaurant after the positive comments received last year regarding the change of venue. The cost will remain at £490.00pp sharing a Twin/Double room All Inclusive. All inclusive at the Sol Principe means all food, all drinks, all entertainments, for the duration of your stay.
There will be some new twists added for 2019 that will be revealed once the brochures are printed, these will benefit the players.
This will be the 40th Anniversary so let's make it a special one that will be remembered.
The BDO looks forward to welcoming the regulars along with newbies who have never attended. It is a family week as well as a darting event with plenty to do and see around the area for everyone. The bonus is of course a week away in the sun in a relaxed atmosphere where old and new friends get together for an amazing time with darts and fun combined.
Also remember the SOL PRINCIPE is an impressive 4 star beach front property.
In order to compete in the tournament and take advantage of this amazing price you have to book through the BDO direct, unless you are a (Spanish/Gibraltarian resident.)
In order for the Spanish/Gibraltar residents to enjoy the benefits of the All Inclusive while at the darts there will be a 20 euro a day charge made by the hotel.
Look out for further announcements and the Torromolinos brochure.
The Sol Principe, Paseo del Colorado, 26, 29620 Torremolinos, Málaga, Spain is the place to be in March 2019.
We look forward to welcoming you.

Paula won this event last year, and often reaches the latter stages. It’s always been a great point scorer so will definitely be on

This can be booked at the moment for £442pp for the same week. So not much difference in price, Because I imagine the £490 also includes entry fees to the darts events.

Do you want to be picked up from the house and have a massage in the airport as well for under £500?el_ringo wrote:That's just the cost for the Hotel though isn't it ? without a flight ?Bag Carrier wrote:BlueSpark wrote:Wonder how much the BDO will be creaming off the £490pp.
