I see someone has enquired and found Potters hotel charging £140 a night for when the darts is on.
£84 usually apparently

I have no idea Ginge as to the context, I'm guessing they mean £84 when there's no darts on.
No idea what they were last year.
Wasn't it a package deal?

Yes. In a bit I'll try and find the full price list again from last year and it will be easy to work out how much he was charging a night in the packages that done exist this year.

Here we go, last year's package prices:

Whole event (9 days): £632 tickets only, £1,159.50 for tickets and a 9 night stay in the International Hotel.
Taking the ticket cost out of that amount equates to £58.61 a night for the hotel stay.

Doing the same for the other three packages that were sold last time (and will be this time on a ticket only basis)

First weekend: £140 hotel cost for 2 nights, so £70 a night
Midweek: £148.50 hotel cost for 3 nights, so £49.50 a night
Final 4 days: £ 249 hotel cost for 4 nights, so £59.75 a night.

So a maximum £70 per night in one of his hotels as part of a package has now become £140 a night because you have to book it seperately.

The robbing git!!!! He's effectively doubled the price ffs :D
