All,

We got a green light from the board of directors from tsod.tv to post in this topic our news (headliners) from dartsnews.com. Of course for everybody to comment also :-) Only positive :showbum: :P

We started dartsnews.com a month ago, and we hope that everybody will enjoy the way we bring all darts news. We try to post as quickly as possible the previews of events and of course the match reports and quotes just after the match is finished. Besides that we have interviews, calendars, ranking updates, Fantasy Games and of course also some Darts Entertainment (video's). We also think we can all do this without annoying commercial pop ups who attack you while surfing on most sites nowadays. The site will develop further coming months.

Our kick off post:

http://dartsnews.com/taylor-on-darts-after-retirement/

Phil Taylor as is known is embarking on his farewell tour in the world of darts after a stellar career where he has carved out a legacy as one of if not the best sportsman of all time who no matter if you love or loathe him has been the standard bearer for darts in all codes of the game......

Sorry, maybe i described it wrongly. Adverts we need of course, but I meant the pop up's which show up unwanted and which you need to click away first before you can continue reading. :P

Sorry but is there really any point to this thread? All of the stuff it's linking to is discussed on the forum anyway ffs.

Ginge,

Some stuff is discussed probably, and some not. That is always how it goes on a forum. We will not link all we post, just what we think is interesting. Then the reader decides if it is worth it or not. In many cases we are rather quick with news updates, and we hope that benefits the forum also.

If nobody is interested, we can decide not to post anymore. We do not want to spam, but only contribute. It should be beneficial for dartsnews and for TSOD.

Just link interviews then. We already know about the draw for the weekend event, or the entry list for next weekend, as they are things that are (or soon will be) discussed on here.

Its as if the powers that be want the forum to be even quieter....

Is it all PDC?*
Just asking....

*I know there is some BDO coverage but only a tiny amount before the fanboys come along trying to catch me out and wasting their day on a pointless exercise.

No, but news from BDO is more difficult to find. We will also have quotes and interviews soon with BDO players.
