Cricket/Tactics 3 player game

Post by ChrisW »

Has anyone played cricket or tactics with three players. And if so how do you score with open numbers?

Game might last a while if you only have one fielder.
Unless you do away with the wicket keeper and have two fielders.
Its a tough one.

many times.
it's called (we call it) "cut throat" (cricket)

if you close and score points, they only go to whoever doesn't have them closed.
so it may be only one of your opponents that you're scoring on, not both.

keep in mind that when you score points, you don't give them to yourself,
you give them to the opposing players.

object: to close all numbers and have the lowest points.
(in case of tie, first to close wins)

if a player has no chance of mathematically winning the game, he has to drop out and no longer throws.

hope this helps.

We winged it and played that you score if you closed but the other two haven't. (So 2 players closed no scoring possible)
Didn't work and became very quickly a dead game as the one with the points couldn't be caught anymore.
Will give it a go tomorrow night.
