What's happened - I see Hills have suspended betting on Kist Whitlock.
Kist has won 2 legs. On throw 3-2. Was worth a punt on the 6-0.

Still only averaging 74 so he still ain't 100%
Never bet on - or against - Whitlock. I have long suspected he is at it.

Whitlock up 5-3. All that money on 6-0 and 6-1 now safely in the bookies' satchels.

After his performance last week Id of never bet on the 6-0 or 6-1. He struggled in the GSOD against someone struggling on stage, why did people think he would not struggle this time.

Kist also added a fair bit onto his average from his last 2 outings. But never mind.

Genuine question Murph: Why do you say that?
I know he's hardly the most consistent performer, but he's never struck me as being up to no good (at least not in the sense you're suggesting)

I'm having a tenner on Clayton, North and Hine pays 173.00.

North seems massive at 5/2.

Since the Hamilton game I have had some very odd results, comebacks etc with him. Beaten by van Peer... i could have given you odds on that happening..I think he is best avoided.

I know the first round draw hasn't been done yet but anyone have any thoughts on MVG's possible/likely route to the semi-final? All things being equal; perhaps we are looking at: R1 Qualifier followed by James Wilson in round two, Gerwyn Price in round three, Barney or Chizzy in the Quarter final then Rob Cross or Mensur in the semi final?
Given either Ando or Taylor is going to go by the third round, and one of Lewis and Wright are going to go by the quarters - to me MVG is actually decent value at 4/5. I really can't see anyone getting past him, Barney surely isn't going to do him again in the quarters and in as much as Cross and Mensur are great players, I can't see either getting past MVG in a first to six sets match.

Barring any injury or flu, i'd say 4/5 is a steal on MVG no matter who he plays.

Set play a bit of a leveller though, if it was straight Matchplay it would be a different prospect.

Sky bet have opened up with some good bets.

Bunting 400/1 seems ridiculous, especially if E/W is a quarter odds, his quarter doesnt look that bad.

William O Connor 5/4 to beat beaton looks good
Alcinas 3/1 to beat Reyes
VDV 9/4 to beat Chizzy is massive odds
Steve West 11/8 to beat Van Der Pass. West looked on fire for the first few legs against MVG, if he went off anything like that against Benito he could beat him

A punt on all 4 is nearly 70/1

I would not back Alcinas to beat Reyes.
The other three could see my hard earned.

Yeah, I backed Bunting a couple of weeks ago - I thought the odds would come down but actually more places seem to have gone 400/1.

Also have Lewis at 50/1 and Michael Smith at 150/1.

Some of the odds on hills for what should be tricky games for the favourites are a joke - Hendo 1/4, Whitlock 2/7, Norris 2/9. The best value I can see first round is Steve West at 13/10 and van den Berg at 6/5. Ratajski is tempting to beat Wilson at 4/5. Think van Gerwen to win it at 4/5 is the bet, I am maybe going to have a lump on it. Wonder what price they will put on an MVG 3-0 over Kist.

Would be amazed if its any better than 1/5, isnt he 1/100 just to win?

1/50 at Hills. Just noticed Dekker is 19/10 to beat Klaasen - if Dekker can play anywhere near what he did against MVG that is great value.
