He comes across very well there, can't disagree with any of it.
"it's the same trolls spouting the same crap every other post.... you have to be some kind of sad act to watch nearly 8 hours of darts a day for 9 days just to post about how crap it is"

Very reasonable comments. Ross is a good player. Good luck to him.

“To get the invitation to this event is an honour. I’ve had lots of advice on how to cope with it but I think I’ll just go out and play my own game and see where it takes me.“Whoever I get it will be difficult. These guys play darts for a living but I have a day job to go to so you can’t put in the kind of time and practice these guys do.”“Playing some big names in the game will be great but I’ve played guys in the BDO who are just as good.

“I’ve played Martin Adams, Scott Mitchell, Glen Durrant and a lot of the Dutch players and they are all capable of playing just as good darts as the players on the PDC.

“But it’s a chance to be on Sky Sports that most of us in the BDO don’t get and it will help get our names out there.

“One of the big things is that, hopefully, playing against players from the PDC will be good preparation for the Lakeside in January.”

Hes changed his tune a bit.

I get that but those comments, to a local paper not any kind of pdc interview, are straight up “I’m really happy to be playing, The bdo don’t give us these chances”

You wonder with the morale so low at the minute how many of the lakeside lot would turn up to qschool if there was issues (like free entry for them or free to do the bdo tour if they fail)

Absolutely. Ross has qualified for the GSOD by right, and is representing his organisation.

Personally would like him to be drawn in Gary's group, so Ando can improve on his 0-2 record against Montgomery.

A great dart player and a man of integrity. Hammered both Gary and MGV in the past, sure to go close.

Ross to lose all his 3 group games (no matter whom he draws) will be a great bet when the odds come up. Must be taken early because the odds will drop like a stone.
