Malta - sounds like another cock up
Lee Blakey
Malta darts nothing but a complete fiasco, your organisation is a joke
Kevin Mcloughlin
Quite agree Lee Blakey, they have just told Cheryl she cannot play in the shoes she has on...... when did the BDO rules change?????
Julie Lambie
Paul James is your players rep in Malta any issues you should take up with Paul
Paul James
Tonight is an unranked pairs and rules for that are not governed by the BDO but by the organisers .
We must remember organisers decision is final , BDO can advise during event and take action if advice not heeded.
Des knows I won't be at venue until wednesday
Paulo Soare
ive u have read the answer on my messages this morningg u cant play on high heels.. So what do u think has changed?
Kevin Mcloughlin
Not high heels, they were wedge heels
Roy Pryor
Trying to gain a height advantage
Darren Olivero
When was BDO appointed to govern the entire planet? This takes place in Malta.
Lee Blakey
Further to my above comments, i go to the bar, no ice i order diet coke , no diet coke i ask for a guiness, guess what no guinness. Dont bother coming people save your money & go elsewhere.
Kevin Mcloughlin
Sorry Malta darts but tonight is a shambles, I want a refund as we are thinking of not coming back tomorrow...
Graham Stuart
The first post suns it up perfectly.
The organization was a joke.
From the moment we entered having to wait an hour to register when there were only 20 people in front of us.
Speaker system was impossible to understand.
Why weren’t boards used as soon as the previous game had finnished instead of waiting till they were all finnnishied and start playing again. I thought you would have learned from previous mistakes. There will be a lot of people who wont come tonight or even next year because of the fiasco.
I spoke to many people last night and no one had a good word to say.
Tonight as soon as a game ends get the next game in the board.
Get more people on the door when registering.
Let’s wait and see if tonight is any better.
People saying the organizer are doing their best but quite frankly if this is their best god help us.
Good luck everyone in singles tonight.
Pauline Tonna
Ladies doubles were woefully overlooked, focus was mainly based on men. When we finally got a game, five hours later we had had enough. We can all sit and have an opinion but it comes down to one simple fact - organisation. Disappointed. Demoralised.

Is she the one who screams all the time at Lakeside?

Re: Malta - sounds like another cock up
Last year loads of complaints too big for small hotel venue , Sport Malta have helped secure a big venue , Malta darts arranged free buses as a bit out of the way , few of the Brits helped out with the singles , I'm sure they have learned a lot this year and will progress.ifm wrote:Was Malta a cock up before then?

Details on the singles finals:
Ladies:
Deta Hedman (79.18) 4 - 2 Aileen de Graaf (80.27)
Mens:
Mark Layton (87.71) 6 - 2 Joe Davis (80.41)
I wonder if Mark Layton will give the full tour a go this year? Picked up 35 points for this one, so given his ability stands a reasonable chance of getting to Lakeside in 2019
