I'm sure Newton and Hamilton would be flattered to be compared to Taylor.

Andy Hamilton and Wes Newton getting very close...

With 2 cat A+ events a good run in thoes they might make it

To be honest if these 2 guys qualified it would be a major talking point and bring extra interest to lakeside.

But everyone who knows darts will know that these two guys were once in the pdc are no longer good enough to be in the PDC and then walked into Lakeside in half a season.

There are one or two others like Witehead who are going to Lakeside after trying PDC and getting no where.

At the same time it’s not a talking point to anyone outside of forum darts if Lakeside doesn’t get on tv or in the media

British Open and Classic. Yes they do have a chance, although it will be tough - odds against I'd say
